General Terms of Business (AGB)
ALPHA CONSULT GMBH & Co KG shall be active for the customer in arranging and carrying out national or international relocation, as well as performing any additional resulting services. The provisions of the German Commercial Code (HGB) regulate all activities of relocation, unless these are modified or supplemented by the stipulations appearing below.

Provisions of Liability by HGB
The liability of ALPHA CONSULT GMBH & Co KG is subject to the relocation contract and the German Commercial Code (HGB). This legal basis shall also apply for the carrying out of household goods via land, air, or sea, to and from places outside of Germany, even in the event that various means of transportation is used.

Advice on Transport Insurance
The basic questions of liability are covered in the regulations mentioned above. Under present law, liability for carrier companies has been extended to at 620 Euro per cubic meter. However, the legal determination of liability is rarely enough to cover actual individual needs; often it provides only a minimum of protection.

International Transport Insurance Conditions
You are able to insure used household goods and motor vehicles under this policy. A separate APPLICATION FOR COVERAGE and a INSURANCE VALUE LIST must be issued for each individual transport before packing and loading of shipment will start. You have the option to cover the declared value based on the replacement cost less depreciation or on replacement value basis (without depreciation). However, an additional premium will be charged.
